Choices and Iraq

Richard Holbrooke , the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, offers the President some advice on what to do with Iraq. His view is that there are no good options, but that the least toxic is to “lay out realistic goals, redeploy our troops and focus on the search for a political solution.”
