Hating the rain

I'm having a terrible week. What is it with New York and the rain this year? I have decided to try to get a flu shot just because it would be a nightmare in my current condition if I get any type of flu this season. Man and I thought the Fall would be lovely, well, I guess I just can't predict anything. I'm rereading David Mitchell's Cloud Altas and it's so good that it almost makes me feel warm.
